Questions patients ask
before their first visit
No. Forehead lines are horizontal and run across the forehead, created by the frontalis muscle lifting the brows. Frown lines, also called glabellar lines, are vertical and sit between the eyebrows. Different muscles, and they are assessed together because they pull in opposite directions.
Not usually, and not in one appointment. Lines that appear only with movement are a different starting point from creases visible at rest, which soften rather than disappear. Complete removal is not an outcome that can be promised.
That outcome comes from over-treatment rather than from the procedure itself. Assessment establishes what is appropriate for your muscle strength and brow position. Preserving movement is a clinical goal, not a compromise.
There is no correct age. The relevant question is whether lines remain visible when your face is at rest. Assessment is based on what the skin and muscle are doing, not your birth date.
Cost depends on individual assessment and cannot be quoted before an examination, because what is appropriate is not known until then. A consultation fee applies and is confirmed when you book.
The forehead sits above vascular and nerve structures, and the muscle involved is the one holding your brows up. Dr Hawli holds an MBBS, assesses you himself and performs any procedure himself. Every appointment at Tajmeel Cliniq is doctor led.
