Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Tajmeel Cliniq website. They are written to be read.
Last updated: [insert month year]
MBBS · Registered Medical Practitioner · Ahpra MED0002627622
Everything on this site is general information, not medical advice about you specifically. Reading it does not make you a patient and does not create any practitioner-patient relationship. Nothing here replaces an in-person consultation with a registered practitioner.
We do not publish prices, before-and-after photographs, testimonials or product brand names, because Australian advertising law for regulated health services prohibits it. That is a legal restriction, not evasiveness, and you can ask about any of it at consultation.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded by anything on this page, and we do not attempt to. If something goes wrong, the complaint pathways are set out below and you do not need our permission to use them.
Who these terms
apply to
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
The site is directed at people in Australia, and specifically at people considering attending a practice in Melbourne. Regulatory requirements described throughout the site are Australian and specifically Victorian. If you are outside Australia, the rules that apply to you are different and this site is not a guide to them.
The site is not directed at children. Where a person under 18 is considering a cosmetic procedure, additional legal protections apply, a parent or guardian must be involved, and a mandatory seven-day cooling off period applies between consultation and any procedure. See Informed Consent for the detail.
Information here is general,
not medical advice
Everything published here is general information. It is not an assessment of you, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a recommendation for your specific situation.
This matters more in cosmetic medicine than in most areas, because the same concern can have completely different causes in different people and require completely different management. A page describing what usually causes a particular appearance cannot tell you what is causing yours. Only an in-person examination can do that.
- Self-diagnose a skin change, lesion or symptom
- Decide that a procedure is or is not appropriate for you
- Decide against seeing a doctor about something you have noticed
- Delay urgent medical assessment
If you have a skin lesion, patch or bump that is new, changing, persistent, bleeding or not healing, see a general practitioner or dermatologist. That is a medical assessment and no cosmetic content, here or anywhere, substitutes for it.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000. See Risks and Safety for the specific urgent-care thresholds after a cosmetic procedure.
We work to keep the content accurate and current, and clinical content is reviewed and dated. Medicine changes, guidelines change, and content can be out of date between reviews. Where a page carries a review date, that is when it was last checked.
No practitioner-patient relationship
is created by using this site
Reading this website, sending an enquiry, or submitting a booking request does not create a practitioner-patient relationship and does not make you a patient of this practice.
That relationship begins when you attend an in-person consultation and Dr Hawli undertakes an assessment. Until that point, no duty of care in respect of your individual clinical situation arises, because no assessment has occurred and no clinical information about you has been evaluated.
This is not a technicality. It is why we cannot answer clinical questions about your specific situation by email or phone before you have been assessed. If we appear to be declining to advise you about your own concern before a consultation, that is the reason, and it is the correct approach rather than an unhelpful one.
For what actually happens at a consultation, see The Consultation Process.
What we do and do not publish,
and why
Australian law restricts what a regulated health service can publish about higher-risk non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Since the AHPRA advertising guidelines took effect on 2 September 2025, that includes the following.
No prices for procedures
Price-based advertising, discounts, package deals and financial inducements are prohibited. You are told the cost when you book and it is confirmed in writing at consultation before consent.
No before-and-after photographs
Restricted under the same guidelines, because such images are inherently selective and cannot represent typical outcomes.
No patient testimonials
Testimonials about clinical outcomes for regulated health services are restricted in Australian advertising law.
No product brand names
Australian law prohibits advertising prescription medicine brand names to the public. The restriction is on advertising, not on informing you at consultation.
These restrictions apply to every compliant Australian practice. Their absence here is not a lack of transparency; it is the law working as intended. The FAQs page explains each in more detail, and Consultation Fees covers the fee position.
What we do publish: the practitioner’s name and Ahpra registration number, the risks associated with procedures, the circumstances in which a procedure would not be recommended, the complaint pathways available to you, and the regulatory framework we operate under. That is the material that actually helps you assess a practice.
Appointments, bookings
and fees
The practical terms around attending.
- A booking request through the site, by phone or by email is a request. It is confirmed when the practice confirms it. Availability is not guaranteed until confirmation.
- A consultation fee applies and is confirmed when you book, so there are no cost surprises on the day. It is payable whether or not you proceed with any procedure.
- Cancellations and rescheduling: at least 24 hours notice requested. Same-day cancellation may attract a fee, disclosed at booking rather than after the fact.
- Where a deposit applies to a procedure booking, the amount and the refund position are confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
- No procedure is performed without written informed consent, and for patients under 18, not within seven days of the consultation at which it was discussed.
Your right to decline is separate from any cancellation policy. You can decline any procedure at any point up to it beginning, without justification, and without a financial penalty for exercising that right. A consultation fee for an assessment already provided is a separate matter. See Informed Consent.
Your rights under
Australian law
Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and we do not attempt to limit them.
Services supplied in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill, will be fit for the purpose you made known, and will be supplied within a reasonable time. Those guarantees apply to the services provided by this practice.
If a service is not supplied to that standard, you have rights, and those rights exist regardless of what any document says. Australian Consumer Law renders unfair contract terms void in consumer contracts, which is a further reason we have not drafted these terms to be one-sided.
For more information about your consumer rights generally, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission publishes consumer guidance at accc.gov.au.

Links to
other websites
This site links to external sites, including Ahpra, the Therapeutic Goods Administration, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Health Complaints Commissioner Victoria and Google Maps.
Those links are provided because the information at the destination is useful to you, and in several cases because we are actively encouraging you to verify something independently, such as a practitioner’s registration.
We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything at the destination. Each external site has its own terms and privacy policy.
Communications
with the practice
How to reach us, and what we can and cannot do by email or phone.
- Email and web forms are not secure channels. Standard email is not encrypted in transit. Use it for general enquiries, appointment logistics and administrative matters. For anything clinically sensitive, phone the practice or raise it at your appointment.
- We do not provide clinical advice by email or phone before assessment. No practitioner-patient relationship exists before a consultation, and giving individual clinical advice without an assessment would be unsafe.
- We do not discuss your care with anyone else without your authorisation, and we do not confirm to a caller that you are a patient here.
- We aim to respond to enquiries within two business days. Consulting hours are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 to 17:00.
If your concern is urgent, do not wait for a reply. Seek appropriate medical care. How information you send is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
What we are and
are not responsible for
- The accuracy and currency of the clinical information we publish, to the standard of reasonable care
- The care provided to patients of this practice
- The security of the information we hold
- Meeting our obligations under Australian health practitioner regulation
- Decisions made solely on general web content without consultation
- Outcomes of treatment provided by any other practice
- Content on external websites
- Website availability interruptions from hosting or connectivity outside our control
- Loss arising from use of the site that we could not reasonably have foreseen
To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to the consumer guarantees described above which cannot be excluded, our liability arising from use of this website is limited to resupplying the information or the cost of doing so.
We have not drafted a broad exclusion of liability for clinical care, and would not, because that is neither lawful nor appropriate for a medical practice.

Governing law and

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may update these terms. The current version and its date appear at the top of this page. Changes take effect when published. Material changes affecting patients will be communicated directly rather than quietly published.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
